A series of multi-stakeholder hearings on Universal Health Coverage (UHC), Tuberculosis (TB) and Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response (PPPR) have been announced by the President of the United Nations General Assembly, and will take place on May 8th and 9th, 2023.
These hearings mark a key moment for the NCD community to contribute to the High-Level Meetings process, and advance the prevention and control of NCDs together with other health priorities. The UN High-Level Meeting on UHC is a priority for NCDA and will take place on 21 September, 2023.
