The 2023 second thematic webinar summarised progress against, and gaps within, existing global NCD targets, with a focus on NCD care, including within the context of global targets for UHC. Also, the webinar laid out WHO's work on NCD facility-based monitoring guidance for NCD patient and programme monitoring, including its planned implementation in countries and opportunities for civil society to support the process. It provided civil society with a space to reflect on potential next steps to improve global data availability and corresponding accountability of, NCD care provision, particularly within the context of the upcoming UN High-Level Meeting on UHC in September 2023.
