The NCD Alliance (NCDA) has announced the shortlisted candidates for the upcoming election of the President-Elect and Board of Directors for the term 2023-2025. The announcement was made ahead of NCDA’s virtual General Assembly meeting, which is scheduled for 17 May 2023.
NCD Alliance’s General Assembly (GA) convenes every two years and is the supreme governing body of the NCDA, providing members with a unique opportunity to shape NCDA’s leadership and strategic direction for the coming years.
The meeting is attended by Full and Founding members who have voting rights, and Associate members who attend as observers.
In 2023, the General Assembly meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday 17May 2023 (the week prior to the 76th session of the World Health Assembly), where the NCDA President-Elect and Board of Directors for the term 2023-2025 will be elected by our membership.
Members will also receive updates and provide input into NCDA’s work. The meeting agenda will include a business performance overview, a review of the past two years since the last General Assembly, and insight into the future strategy and ambitions of NCDA for 2021-2026.
