In line with resolution WHA70.11 (2017), the WHO Director-General will provide information on the progress achieved in the implementation of the Political Declaration of the High-level Meeting of the General Assembly on the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases (2011) and the outcome document of the high-level meeting of the General Assembly on the comprehensive review and assessment of the progress achieved in the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases (2014), in preparation for the third High-level Meeting in 2018.
