Member States at the United Nations finalised a resolution on 17 December that determines the roadmap and methods that will lead to the agreement of the post-2015 development agenda. Building on the success of the Open Working Group process and outcomes, the resolution sets out specific dates for the intergovernmental negotiations and decides the scope of the contents of the post-2015 framework and outcome document. Importantly, the resolution calls for including inputs from civil society and other stakeholders in the final framework, to be formally adopted at the Summit that will be held from 25 - 27 September 2015.
