Convening stakeholders for policy discussions on NCDs and mental health: Ensuring a solutions-centric discussion on the UN HLM with national focus at WHA 2025

On the sidelines of the 78th World Health Assembly, Boehringer Ingelheim and NCD Alliance are convening key partners to discuss noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) and mental health in the context of the UN High-Level Meeting on NCDs and Mental Health.
We seek to
- Amplify stakeholder voices on the global stage and highlight the challenges and opportunities across the NCD and mental health landscapes
- Unite stakeholders behind a shared vision and way forward in NCDs (including cardiovascular, renal and metabolic conditions), mental health and health equity
- Improve government representative and other key stakeholders’ understanding of the need for urgent investment and action in NCDs and mental health, ahead of the UN HLM later in the year.
