The Cameroon Civil Society NCD Alliance focuses on empowering civil society organisations working on NCDs to advocate at both local and national levels through capacity building, unified action and stakeholder consultations. The Alliance promotes evidence-based advocacy and a strong national consensus on what is priority for the attainment of the national and global NCD prevention and control targets.

Established in 2018, CACSNA enjoyed the Interim leadership of Prof. Jean Claude Mbanya, as Chair and Mr. Ferdinant M. Sonyuy as Secretary General for two years as well as the Technical support of the Global NCD Alliance to fully establish the alliance.

The New board Leadership was elected in 2020 bringing the end of the Interim leadership and the beginning of the Alliance’s strategic focus and advocacy for the prioritization of NCDs in Cameroon.
