Liz is responsible for the policy and advocacy work on NCD prevention and health promotion, by advocating and supporting the implementation of public regulations and policies that reduce exposure to the main NCD risk factors and address the social and commercial determinants of health. Prior to this, she worked at FDI World Dental Federation, advocating for the integration of oral health promotion and care within health systems, and before that, she worked for the partnerships and membership team of the NCD Alliance. She also has experience in the field of humanitarian aid and protection, working for Professionals in Humanitarian Aid and Protection (PHAP) and the European Commission's Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO), and she was a consultant with the UN Population Fund (UNFPA). She holds a Master’s degree in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe, and is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
