Universal Health Coverage Day

UHC Day, held annually on 12 December, commemorates the United Nations’ unanimous endorsement of universal health coverage (UHC) in 2012. It’s a global day of recognition to highlight the importance of accessible, affordable, and quality health care for everyone, everywhere.

Since its establishment, UHC Day has grown into a worldwide observance, bringing together countries, organizations, and individuals to spotlight progress and challenges on the path to health for all.

The day is coordinated by UHC2030, in collaboration with a diverse group of stakeholders across governments, civil society, multilateral organizations, academia, and the private sector.
