International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies

On 7 September 2026, the seventh International Day of Clean Air for blue skies will make the case for accelerated action on air pollution as an investment in healthier people, stronger economies and a more sustainable future.

This year’s campaign will spotlight new findings from UNEP and the Climate and Clean Air Coalition on the economic benefits of integrated climate and clean air action, including measures and policy reforms that can reduce harmful air pollution while advancing climate goals.
