Afghanistan NCD Alliance

The Afghanistan NCD Alliance has been founded in September 2018 by a group of young professionals, including public health experts with experience in NCD control and prevention.

Our work focuses on NCDs and their risk factors, we collaborate with the Ministry of Health to make NCD a priority in the health agenda to improve the national health system. In addition, we are conducting public campaigns to raise awareness about NCDs at community level and we organise workshops to train health care workers (doctors, nurses, midwifes and more) on NCD prevention and control.
