World Cancer Day 2026

World Cancer Day, observed every year on 4 February, is an international awareness day led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). The day brings together individuals, communities, organisations, and governments around the world to raise awareness of cancer, encourage prevention, and drive action to address the global cancer burden.

The World Cancer Day campaign theme for 2025–2027, United by Unique, places people at the centre of care, recognising that every experience of cancer is unique. The campaign calls for people-centred, equitable health systems that respond to the individual needs of people and communities, and for collective action to reduce the global impact of cancer.
