We express concern that efforts to address workforce shortages, inequities, and migration challenges remain fragmented, with limited accountability mechanisms to track progress.

During the 158th Session of the WHO Executive Board (EB158), we call on Member States to address the root causes of the migration of health personnel, improve living and working conditions, and provide incentives to health workers to fill positions in underserved rural areas.
