The 4th Healthy Latin America Coalition CLAS Workshop focuses on implementing effective policies to reduce NCDs and improve everyone's health. It will take place in Panama, supported by the Ministry of Health of Panama, Panamerican Health Organization Panama, NCD Alliance, IDRC, and members of the CLAS Coalition. Almost a hundred participants will identify achievements and challenges in the Latin American region around healthy food systems, the FCTC and the harmful consumption of alcohol, inequities in access to primary healthcare services, research's impact on public policies, interference of certain industries in policy, people affected by NCDs, and human rights.
