The NCD Alliance invites the global NCD movement to join a webinar on mental health that will be held on:
Monday 18 November 2019 from 3pm - 4:30pm CET // 9am - 10:30 EDT
Mental health conditions are one of the major groups of NCDs with crucial relevance in efforts to control and prevent NCDs. They are associated with significant premature mortality, and a serious cause of disability and years of life lost. Mental conditions also have links to cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases and other NCDs.
By sustaining discussions on mental health, we can drive advocacy at global, regional and national levels and improve the lives of people affected by NCDs worldwide. This is crucial as we work towards a world where no one is left behind.
In this webinar, the NCD Alliance will bring together stakeholders in mental health policy, service provision, and campaigning fields, to share insights, perspectives, and opportunities for engagement in advancing progress on improving mental health for all.
