60th Commission on the Status of Women

The 60th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW60) began on 14 March and concluded today. The two week session focused on women’s empowerment and its link to sustainable development, as well as the prevention and elimination of all forms of violence against women and girls.

A number of side events focused on NCDs as an important component of the women’s health and empowerment agenda, including events on nutrition, air pollution and the environment, and broader advocacy. Draft agreed conclusions can be found in the link below.
