Bloomberg on the Post-2015 Development Agenda

06th February 2013

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg shares his views on how to frame the next set of goals for the global health community. He makes the argument for three principles to be considered for the Post-2015 Development Agenda.

Those principles are:

  •  To use data and metrics in setting goals, assessing progress, and ensuring accountability;
  •  To make the healthy choice the default by creating policies that encourage individuals to make the choices that will improve their lives; and
  •  To Leverage public-private partnerships for social good.
