On the 2nd Anniversary of the UN High-Level Meeting on the Prevention and Control of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) Chelsea Clinton made an appearance on Jon Stewart's Daily Show discussing her commitment to the fight against NCDs.
Clinton, who is vice chairman of the newly renamed Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Foundation, emphasized that NCDs today are one of the largest threats to global health and economic development. She also corrected the common myth that NCDs are a high income country problem, pointing out that low and middle income countries are disproportionately affected by the epidemic.
