The Caribbean: Engaging all-of-society in accelerating the chronic disease response

Sudden, unexpected deaths, especially among middle-aged men, are a growing problem in Jamaica and around the Caribbean. Often this is due to undiagnosed and untreated high blood pressure: the number one risk factor for heart attack and stroke. 

What can be done to tackle this silent killer and address the epidemic of chronic diseases?
 
A wide-ranging group from journalists to fishermen and from health experts to faith-based organisations came together to share ideas and experiences and chart a way forward.
