May is Stroke Awareness Month. The International Alliance for Pediatric Stroke has united leading advocates worldwide and created the United4PediatricStroke website for Pediatric Stroke Awareness! We have made it easy for everyone across the globe to take part in supporting pediatric stroke awareness!
Be Visible: Put pediatric stroke on the interactive World Map by sharing your child’s story or your story if you suffered a stroke as a child. Let’s see just how many children across the globe have been impacted by stroke!
Be Heard: Raise your “voice” and show support for these children by changing your Twitter and/or Facebook profile picture with our Pediatric Stroke Awareness Twibbon campaign. You can also read a new story each day in May of children who have a stroke story to tell on the #MyStrokeStory page. Read and share these inspirational stories throughout the month of May!
Unite for Change: We want to ensure that education and awareness grows for pediatric stroke. The Unite for Change page has many resources and publication links that are meant to be read and shared. Included on this page are the American Heart Association/International Alliance for Pediatric Stroke infographics in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Be sure and sign up for the International Alliance for Pediatric Stroke newsletter so you can stay updated on the latest news, information, resources and research for pediatric stroke.
Together we can unite to educate and raise awareness that strokes can happen to babies, children, teens and even before birth. Thank you for helping with the Pediatric Stroke Awareness campaign!
