Apply by 3 March to attend interactive hearing and UN HLM on UHC

20th February 2019

Applications are now being accepted for special accreditation to the interactive multi-stakeholder hearing for the UN High-Level Meeting (HLM) on Universal Health Coverage (UHC). Applications will be accepted until 3 March.

The interactive hearing, part of the preparatory process for the HLM on UHC, is scheduled for 29 April at UN Headquarters in New York. The HLM will take place on 23 September.

Only 1 accreditation process

The current accreditation process will be the only one provided for those planning to attend the interactive hearing and the HLM on UHC.

Special accreditation is necessary for relevant non-governmental organisations (NGOs), civil society organisations (CSOs), academic institutions, philanthropic foundations, medical associations and the private sector to attend the high-level meeting and participate in the interactive multi-stakeholder hearing.

NGOs in consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) need not apply for special accreditation.
