Do you know how heart healthy you are? With World Heart Day 2016 fast approaching the World Heart Federation is urging people across the globe to take a closer look at their heart health and consider changes they could make to power their lives more effectively.

This side event will examine the different dimensions of access to healthcare for NCDs in the context of health systems strengthening.

On this Caribbean Wellness Day 2016, the Healthy Caribbean Coalition calls on Caribbean governments to urgently enact policies and legislation that provide healthy environments for healthy children.

The WHO European Region has launched today a new action plan for NCDs at the Regional Committee meeting in Copenhagen.

The deadline for pre-registration has been extended to 12 September 2016. 

NCD Alliance and other international public health organisations have sent a letter today to President of the Republic of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, urging him to maintain the traffic light labelling scheme as an effective tool to tackle NCDs, reduce overweight & obesity, and improve nutrition and health.
