Co-sign NCDA’s response to the second draft of the updated Appendix 3

The WHO published the second draft of the updated Appendix 3 of the Global action plan for the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) 2013–2030 – also known as the NCD “best buys” and other recommended interventions. This second draft has addressed to a certain extent some of the concerns that NCD Alliance raised in our response to the first draft.
We have now finalized our submission HERE and kindly invite your organizations to co-sign NCD Alliance’s submission. Please indicate your response to co-sign by emailing Toyyib Abdulkareem by noon (CEST) Thursday, 25th of August 2022.
In case you may also wish to submit your own response, we have prepared a document that summarizes the main differences between the first and second drafts for your reference. WHO is accepting written comments from civil society organisations via email at [email protected] by 28 August 2022. There will be an opportunity for a live informal consultation with non-States actors in official relations with WHO on 19 September 2022, for which a registration link will be made available on the consultation webpage early in September.
