The NCD Alliance will bring together diverse NCD stakeholders for a multisectoral regional dialogue to discuss approaches for the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region to people-centred health systems to build back better and fairer from the COVID-19 pandemic. The role of different stakeholders in promoting meaningful involvement of people living with NCDs will also be discussed. This dialogue is open to NCDA partners, members and those with an interest in health in the region and will take place on Tuesday 8 June. You can register here!
NCDA will also co-host with the Healthy Latin American Coalition (CLAS) and Mexico Salud-Hable an Our Views, Our Voices Pan American regional meeting to explore opportunities and barriers related to meaningful involvement of people living with NCDs, alongside strategies and support needed to implement meaningful involvement in organisational practices.
This meeting will be held on Wednesday 9 June for civil society only, including alliances. We invite you to register here through a two-step process – first you will be asked to nominate participants, and then we will send you the registration details. Please note that these dialogues have limited capacity. Invites will be provided on a first come first serve basis.
Regional multi-stakeholder dialogues for South-East Asia / Western Pacific and the Eastern Mediterranean will take place on 16 June and 22 June respectively.
