Description

The webinar included presentations from some of those leading the charge to address dysfunctional food systems: the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), UNICEF, American Heart Association, World Obesity Federation, and World Cancer Research Fund International. Discussions focused on the changing face of malnutrition, the links between nutrition and climate change, multi-duty policy options, and how a human-rights approach to healthy diets is necessary to secure sustainable, healthy food for all. Participants also learnt about new and forthcoming initiatives, resources and opportunities to help improve nutrition and health for everyone, everywhere.
