Description

The political declaration from the third UN HLM on NCDs, held in September 2018, provides the most recent, explicit and prominent articulation of national governments’ desire and commitment to formally expand the NCD agenda to include mental health and air pollution respectively.

This webinar features presentations by Professor Dean Schraufnagel from the Forum of International Respiratory Societies on the links between air pollution and NCDs; Dr Tom Matte of Vital Strategies on implementing interventions to address air pollution at national and local level; Annie Bliss from Alzheimer's Disease International on the implications of the 5x5 approach for dementia; and James Sale from United for Global Mental Health on the global mental health response.
