Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute Kosovo (Swiss TPH Kosovo)

Swiss TPH Kosovo, through its AQH and IHS projects, supports national efforts to prevent and control noncommunicable diseases by strengthening person-centred, integrated health services across primary and secondary care. Our work focuses on improving the quality, accessibility, and coordination of services for patients with NCDs—particularly diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and other chronic conditions—while ensuring that vulnerable communities are informed, engaged, and empowered to manage their health. We collaborate closely with local national institutions (government and CSOs, NGOs) health managers, providers, and patient groups to enhance service delivery, strengthen health awareness and care-seeking behaviours, and support policy frameworks that advance sustainable, patient-centred integrated care at the national level.
