Cassious David is a trained journalist and communications specialist working across public health, media, and advocacy in the non-communicable diseases (NCD) space. His work spans East Africa, where he has supported regional efforts: particularly with NCD Alliance East Africa to strengthen media reporting, train journalists, and shape more accurate and compelling narratives around NCDs.

At a global level, he has contributed to youth-led advocacy within the NCD movement, including leading an international team in developing the 2025 Kigali Youth Statement and the campaign surrounding its launch in Rwanda ahead of the 2025 United Nations High-Level Meeting in New York. His role focused on crafting the narrative, producing visual and digital content, and amplifying youth voices within global health discussions.

His work reflects a strong commitment to youth leadership and participation in shaping health and development agendas, evident in both his contributions within the NCD space and his role in co-founding the Guild Presidents Leadership Academy, a platform dedicated to equipping young leaders across the region.
