Harriet Beatrice Abeda is a trained development specialist with over 20 years of progressive experience in program leadership, consultancy, strategic planning, and advocacy work across Uganda and the wider East African region. In her previous leadership roles as a Program Manager with various organisations and local governments, she has led diverse teams, built and sustained strategic partnerships, and driven high‑quality reporting, monitoring and evaluation, as well as resource mobilisation for both development and humanitarian programmes. She currently serves as a Public Health Advocate with the NCD Alliance East Africa, where she contributes to regional strategies on noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), health systems strengthening, and policy advocacy.
