James Bramble has twenty years’ experience as a grant maker, manager, and fundraiser.  He began his career developing funding programmes for the UK’s largest funder, the Big Lottery Fund, and has since worked in resource mobilisation for a wide range of INGOs including Amnesty International, Institute for War and Peace Reporting, and Mental Disability Advocacy Centre.  In 2016 he founded his own fundraising consultancy, Grant Smart, and has advised clients including Medical Aid Films, HelpAge International, The Mix, Whizz-Kidz, SOS Children’s Villages UK, Global Green Grants UK, We Protect and many others.
