Nyla joined the NCD Alliance in November 2023 as a Capacity Development Officer working on the Our Views, Our Voices initiative and supporting the meaningful involvement of people living with NCDs across the organisation and network. She supports the Capacity Development unit with grant administration, developing advocacy agendas and implementing community engagement activities. Nyla has a background in community engagement and advocacy through local campaign development, as well as intervention design, roll-out and evaluation. She also has consulting experience for clients across the health sector including NGOs, local governments and private corporations through conducting research and impact assessments. Nyla holds a BSc in Global Health from Queen Mary University and an MSc in Public Health from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
