Pedro Gullón MD MPH is the General Director of Public Health and Equity in Spain. During the pandemic, Dr. Gullón worked on evaluating non-pharmacological interventions, studying the social inequalities related to Covid-19, and researching the determinants of vaccination and vaccine hesitancy. He holds a degree in Medicine from the University of Alcalá and is a specialist in Preventive Medicine and Public Health. He also holds a master's degree in Public Health from the University of Alcalá de Henares and a doctorate in Epidemiology and Public Health from the same university.
