Abdihakim Kosar has over 16 years of experience working with refugees in humanitarian contexts. Currently, he serves as Reproductive Health Coordinator at the Kenya Red Cross Society. Before this role, Abdihakim served as Head Nurse, providing leadership in the management and delivery of primary healthcare services. His experience includes coordinating care for patients with noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) and other chronic health conditions, ensuring integrated, patient-centred approaches to treatment and follow-up. Throughout his career, he has contributed to strengthening health systems, improving access to essential healthcare services, and supporting vulnerable populations in complex humanitarian and emergency contexts.
