NCDA Advocacy Webinar: 2025 Q3
Please join NCD Alliance for our third-quarter advocacy webinar for the final push for the fourth High-Level Meeting on NCDs and Mental Health! This webinar will consist of two parts: a closed session for NCDA members only and a session open to the general public.
We will be discussing and debriefing during the first closed session the High-Level Political Forum, the high-level dialogue on the determinants of health, and the UN Financing for Development Conference. We'll also check in for a run-through of WHO restructuring and the recently released agenda for the next WHO Executive Board Meeting.
The second session, open to the general public, will focus on the preparations for the 4th High-Level Meeting of the General Assembly on the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases and the Promotion of Mental Health and Well-being (HLM4; 25 September 2025) and the stage of the political declaration negotiations.
Timings:
- NCDA members and partners are invited to join the full session from 14:30 to 16:00 CEST
- The open session begins at 15:15 CEST, and we welcome general participants to join from 15:05 CEST
Inclusion Criteria:
All submissions will be reviewed, and participation confirmed based on the following criteria:
- Alignment with NCDA’s commitment to safeguarding public health policy from vested interests
- A declaration of no conflict of interest, including no funding or influence from industries such as alcohol, tobacco and nicotine, ultra-processed and HFSS foods and beverages, fossil fuels, or arms
