Selected fellows announced for the Our Views, Our Voices Fellowship 2026
The Our Views, Our Voices Initiative is excited to announce the launch of a new programme in 2026: The Our Views, Our Voices Fellowship.
The Fellowship is designed to support early-stage lived experience advocates who have not yet had access to global advocacy platforms and who demonstrate strong leadership potential and a commitment to driving change.
The programme aims to strengthen emerging advocates‘ confidence, knowledge and skills to drive action on NCD locally and globally. To achieve this impact, the Fellowship provides access to tailored development opportunities, NCD Alliance resources and networks, and participation in a global advocacy opportunity.
Following a competitive selection process, four fellows have been selected for the 2026 cohort. They represent diverse backgrounds and lived experiences , reflecting the wide range of lived experience expertise across the NCD community. Each fellow brings a unique voice and a shared commitment to advancing more equitable, people-centred approaches to NCD prevention and care.
The Our Views, Our Voices Initiative looks forward to supporting the fellows in their advocacy journeys this year and providing opportunities for increased impact.
The Our Views, Our Voices Initiative warmly welcomes the 2026 Fellows:
"Through this fellowship, I'm keen to work on creating a narrative that truly reflects my lived experiences and ensure that it's addressed by systems"
"Progress starts when one passionate advocate takes a step forward and invites others along. I am excited to help build the momentum for meaningful NCD action but first, let Our Views Our Voices Fellowship build my knowledge and confidence!"
"As a survivor and advocate I am excited to grow through the Our Views, Our Voices Fellowship, I am looking forward to moving from just sharing my story, to using my voice to call for real change for people living with NCD."
"I dream of a world where everyone can access proper healthcare, regardless of where they live or whether they can afford it. The voices of people living with NCDs should be placed at the centre of health policy and decision making to help reshape health systems so that patients, not profit, become the priority. I am honoured to join the Our Views, Our Voices Fellowship and work alongside an inspiring community driving this change forward."
